Saving Christmas in the Village

Some very green light facts :

The lights were designed specifically for Blackpool Iluminations to replace the frequently breaking glass lamps.

Each light is made up of nine LED beams which has a life of approximately 100,000 light hours.

Each light has a power rating of 0.6 watts which means that each of the 22 strings of lights draws less than 100 watts of power which over a period of two months would cost only a few pounds.

The LED’s are protected by a clear polycarbonate ball which is very light and virtually indestructible.

Our carbon footprint is the best that can be achieved with current technology.

Health and Safety issues have been dramatically improved.

We anticipate ongoing maintainance costs to be approximately £5,000 per annum.
